CEO, executive director and chair of Fortis Life Sciences. He also serves as a chair or non-executive director on the boards of several healthcare companies including Privia Health, Health Channels, LGC and AmSurg Corporation.
Previous experience
David recently served as a chair or non-executive director on the boards of ZimVie (2022 - 2025) and VaxCare (2021 - 2025).
Prior to that he served as executive chair and CEO for Laboratory Corporation of America (LabCorp) from 2007 to 2019, where he helped transform LabCorp from a pure-play US testing laboratory into a leading global life sciences company and tripled its size through a combination of organic growth and strategic acquisitions.
Before joining LabCorp, David was a partner at Hogan & Hartson LLP (now Hogan Lovells) where he was a key leader in the firm’s healthcare fraud and abuse practice, representing national healthcare companies in investigations and litigation.
